What are you doing today?

For me its TGIF. I'm so glad the weekend is here. It has been a beautiful morning so far, bright and sunny. We are supposed to get rain later but I hope to get outside before it starts. I anticipate a quiet day at home. My only goals are to get all my PT and treamill time in and to repot the Calla Lilies Dail and Nicholas got me for Mother's Day. They are gorgeous, pink but are way too big for the pot they are in. I found a lovely tulip shaped pink and green flower pot last night. I'm very excited to get that done.
So what are you all doing?

I have the windows in my classroom WIDE open to soak up all this day that I can...  I have also had quite a workout, for the summer we have to pack everything up and off the floor so they can wax them.  So as of today, that is D-O-N-E!!!! 

This afternoon I have a couple of errands to run after school but I am so hoping to have Connor home by the time so we can play outside since this weekend looks wet and stormy!

Good luck with all the packing. I don't envy you that. It is a beautiful day to be outside though and I hope all have a great time.

I'm headed to the Elton John / Billy Joel concert tomorrow night at the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville. Then a high school graduation ceremony after church on Sunday.

I plan to work off a few calories at the concert tomorrow night!

Hey, Phil and I will be working the concert tomorrow night. What section will you be in and maybe we can look you up?

Sounds like you are in for a great time. I haven't been to a concert in years. Maybe since college, and I wont tell you how long ago that was. Go have a good time and tell us all about it tomorrow.

TGIF!!!!! I'm working until 6:00. And this is usually my ex's weekend with the kids. But I'm keeping them tonight along with his girlfriend's 8 month old, so that they can go to a concert tonight. So when i get off here I'm heading to pick up my daughter and kylie from their babysitters. And going home where my boyfriend and my son are playing (quietly of course). And going to pick up happy meals for my two kids. And feed the baby her babyfood. Then it's off to bed and get ready for my weekend alone with Jeff as soon as my ex picks up the kids in the morning.

Thats great of you to babysit for you ex. I don't think I could manage all my ex's kids. He has 3 more besides mine and one on the way. A total of 7 kids that he does nothing for but pay child support. I think it is great that you get along well with your ex. It isn't that I don't get along with mine, just that I really disapprove of his lifestyle.

Yeah. It is nice that we get along. There are still times where we'd like to choke each other lol. But for the most part we try to settle our differences. It's kinda funny... my boyfriend is my ex's girlfriend's bestfriend. I met him at my daughter's birthday party last year. My kids knew him before I ever did. Works out though because they adore him and he adores them. It's cute cause my daughter (who is 3) will get upset and cry if Jeff gets hurt or is sick. She doesn't want Jeff to not feel good.

OH YEAH, TGIF!

This evening, we are doing our normal ritual...  meeting Mike at his house, then going out to dinner.  Hey, sometimes I think Tim and Mike are better friends than Me and mike!  Cause every Friday, Tim says "Call Mike..."  "See if Mike wants to go out to eat."  "Are we going to Mike's?"  Good lord! LOL.  Actually, I love Fridays...  because I don't get to see my friend Mikey very often through the week.  Now keep in mind, we used to be roommates, so I was used to seeing him EVERY single day! 

My aunt and uncle came down from Illinois.  I love them! They are really cool people.  I lived with them for a year after graduating college, and we got very close.  So tonight after we eat, Tim & I may go see them awhile at my mom's, and tomorrow they are coming over to our house.  We had some scrap aluminum down in the woods, and my uncle wants it for some reason.  so they are coming to pick it up with their truck.

Sunday I am going to the TnRenfest. I can't wait!  

YOU KNOW WHAT?  When I was fat, I had no social life.  I owned NO calendar...  accept the one people gave me at Christmas, the pocket calendar that I swore I would start to fill.  I never did.  Now, gosh my calendar stays so full, I can't live without it in my purse all the time so I can coordinate other stuff!  I love LIVING LIFE!
